Friday Hotel (Prague, Czech Republic) Review

I really enjoyed my stay at Friday Hotel during my visit to the beautiful city of Prague.
Here's the Five Reasons Why:
1. Location
Hotel Friday is located just off the bustling Na příkopě shopping boulevard, which is lined with international retailers such as New Yorker, Tommy Hilfinger, BOSS, and even Hamleys (which should be an attraction on its own, even if you are a grown-up!). Directly opposite the hotel is Spanish fast fashion retailer, Zara - so don't worry if you forgot to pack in your clothes!

Prague is a very walkable city, however, it is great that Hotel Friday is less than 500m from Můstek metro station (easy access to Václav Havel Airport Prague), and a stone's throw away is Havelské tržiště Market - the place to go to buy affordable souvenirs!
Even though the hotel is located centrally, noise wasn't a problem, as the hotel is located slightly off the main street and it was relatively quiet after the stores are closed.
2. Hotel Interior
The hotel is tastefully decorated in a charming art theme, with corridors adorned with artwork and sculptures. A soft lighting and carpeted floors also adds a lovely and welcoming ambience to the hotel interior.

3. Room
I stayed at the Double Room, it was pretty spacious. What I loved most was the comfortable bed and fluffy pillows. It was soft yet cushioned, and it was one of the best rests I've had at any hotel. The bathroom is also spacious, which I appreciate. Wi-Fi worked very well and the fridge kept my drinks well-chilled. Even though television screen was somewhat small, I also could watch international programmes on the satellite television. Even though they weren't needed, earplugs, shoe shine and a shoe horn was provided. Room cleaning is very thorough and I loved the cleanliness of the room - it really was great to come back to a clean and nicely spruced room after a day of exploring the enchanting city.

4. Breakfast
Breakfast is a delightful affair, with a generous spread of hot items (sausages, crisp bacon, scrambled eggs, and vegetables), salad and fruits, pastries and bread, assorted cold cuts and cheeses, and cereals. There is also a coffee machine that whips up a variety of coffee styles. Though the Breakfast Room can get quite busy as space is limited, the attendants are quick to clear the tables to free up space for new hungry guests.

5. All-day Complimentary Drinks
An added perk of staying at Friday Hotel is the all-day complimentary coffee, tea, and water at the Breakfast Room. It is awesome to be able to get a nice hot drink at any time of the day (or night). If lounging in the Breakfast Room isn't to your liking, paper cups are conveniently available to bring your chosen drink back to your room.

Overall, I had a really delightful stay in Friday Hotel and won't hesitate to recommend this awesome hotel to anyone who's visiting Prague.
